Firstly on behalf of  the local party executive could we take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy, peaceful and successful new year. As our party's performance at last years general election demonstrates big dreams really can come true!

2025 promises to be another busy year politically as we have Suffolk county elections scheduled for May. We have a full slate of candidates standing across South Suffolk so you should see our campaign in the weeks ahead. Indeed you are most welcome to help us with the campaigning if that catches your fancy!

A date for the diary!

To get us motivated and enthused for the campaign we are pleased that  Marie Goldman the new MP for Chelmsford will be with us at Lavenham Village Hall (Church St, Sudbury CO10 9QT )  on Friday 10 January at 7.30 to share insights and answer questions about how the Chelmsford party went from relative obscurity to running the council and electing the MP.

Entrance costs £20 (per person) and includes a fish / sausage/ chicken and chips supper. Drinks will also be available to purchase.
All surplus monies raised will be used to fund our County Council campaign leading up to the May elections.

This is also a good opportunity to meet up with other local party members as well as to hear how we can achieve success

You can pay by transferring money to Babergh Liberal Democrats; sort code: 30-13-52; account no: 00373121 ref: Goldman MP; or by paying by card at Make a donation today
