Garden waste collection stopped

March 26, 2020 4:45 PM

mmmm (Photo by Shane Rounce on Unsplash)Babergh and Mid Suffolk's waste team have decided, to protect residents, staff and services in response to the current COVID-19 situation,
to suspend garden waste collections until further notice to allow them to prioritise essential collections (general rubbish, medical as well as recycling).

To help residents and businesses, the Council have created a dedicated page on their website with the most up to date status of collections during this time which will continue to be update as required over the coming weeks.

You can find the page at https://www.babergh.gov.uk/waste-services/covid-19-collection-changes/ It includes advice on disposing of waste for those self-isolating, as well as further information for garden waste subscribers.
