Linda Jack (number 2 on Liberal Democrats list of candidates) visited South Suffolk yesterday joining South Suffolk Parliamentary Campaigner Nigel Bennett and Cllr Kathy Pollard, leader of the Liberal Democrats on Suffolk. Linda visited Brantham to see the regeneration needed of the industrial area and to hear how EU money was helping the studies on the potential of the large site. Local Councillor Trot Ward explained the hopes that Lib Dems have for the site.
Next, Linda visited East Bergholt where she joined Cllr Sue Carpendale for several hours of talking to people on the doorstep.

Linda then visited the Assington Farm shop and PO which is successfully expanding and listened to some of the planning problems that rural businesses can face.

Finally with Cllr Bryn Hurren Linda visited Copella at Stoke by Nayland to see a highly successful company manufacturing pressed apple drinks and the importance to the rural economy and agriculture as well as the issues facing industry.
